Clare and Roger wanted a garden room that would sit comfortably within their garden without interrupting the beautiful countryside views beyond.
They brought along a beautifully illustrated garden design, which became an important part of the design process. The studio needed to create a bright, flexible outdoor room while making the most of both the views across the countryside and back towards the family home.
During our site visit, we carefully positioned the glazing to preserve views through the building from different points within the garden, while introducing a roofl ight to maximise natural light.
The completed garden room sits naturally within the garden, complementing both the family home and the surrounding countryside.

The rooflight floods the space with natural light, making it feel even more open and spacious. This project is a wonderful example of how thoughtful design can transform a small area into a beautiful, practical space without compromising the character of the garden.
Having looked at other garden rooms on the market and not found quite what we were looking for, we discovered Henley Garden Buildings. We met Kevin, the director, at their showsite and explained what we wanted and together created the required design.
From design to completion we were impressed by the product knowledge, planning and craftmanship of both Kevin and his excellent team. We were looking for a garden room that would provide us with maximum sunlight all year round and Henley Garden Buildings were able to accommodate this by including a glass lantern light in the roof – something that wasn’t available from other suppliers.
The quality of the product from the main structure to the finishing touches is impressive and we are delighted with the result.
