Isobel and Stephanie wanted a beautifully designed, multi-purpose space that could accommodate two businesses within one garden room.
The room needed to work for TRX training, yoga, and general fitness, while also providing a dedicated area for beauty treatments.
An important part of the design was ensuring the space remained open and flexible enough to move comfortably between its different uses. The ceiling also needed to be specially reinforced to support the TRX equipment.
The finished garden room provides a light, flexible environment that allows the fitness and beauty businesses to operate comfortably alongside one another.
A wrap-around deck was extended to create an additional outdoor area, designed to work equally well as a bistro-style seating space or an outdoor yoga platform. Integrated planters help soften the transition between the building and garden.
The combination of expansive glazing, covered deck and carefully considered internal space has created a versatile studio that works for both wellbeing and business.
