Bespoke Signature Avon Garden Studio

Clare and Roger visited us on site to discuss a garden room that would sit nicely in their garden but not obstruct their views to the open countryside beyond. They produced a beautifully illustrated plan of their garden that had been designed for them by a local garden designer.
The Avon garden studio would be an outdoor multifunctional room, positioned to look back at their lovely family home. The garden looked out onto open countryside, and this needed to be taken into consideration. They were also keen to ensure that the building was as light and sunny as possible.
During the site visit, it was felt that the studio needed to have windows in the back wall to allow the fields beyond to be seen through from the front and from various view points throughout the garden. We also chose to insert a rooflight to ensure maximum light would flood in.
We styled the entire Avon garden studio in Flint cladding including the canopy which complimented the family home and stunning scenery around.
Internally, Silver Birch paint was used to contrast with the anthracite full length glazed openings allowing the family 180 degree views of their garden from within.
Two picture windows were placed in the back wall allowing furniture to be positioned underneath at the same time as ensuring uninterrupted views to the countryside behind.
An amazing example of what can be made out of a small unused space in your garden.

Having looked at other garden rooms on the market and not found quite what we were looking for, we discovered Henley Garden Buildings. We met Kevin, the director, at their showsite and explained what we wanted and together created the required design.
From design to completion we were impressed by the product knowledge, planning and craftmanship of both Kevin and his excellent team. We were looking for a garden room that would provide us with maximum sunlight all year round and Henley Garden Buildings were able to accommodate this by including a glass lantern light in the roof – something that wasn’t available from other suppliers.
The quality of the product from the main structure to the finishing touches is impressive and we are delighted with the result.
