The Avon Garden Studio
Leamington
Peter and Laura have a beautiful home in Leamington Spa with a fantastic garden but had a dilapidated outbuilding that they wanted to remove and replace with a new structure to accommodate a gym and a store.
They were keen for the Studio not to encroach too much into the garden and obstruct the view from their kitchen. With a little bit of thought and creativity we produced a design that we felt met their needs.
The design would be our Avon model with a Store. We decided to recess the store back from the main Studio to ensure that Peter and Laura could still look down the garden past the building.
We designed a fantastic bespoke Avon with Store, with the store being closest to the house measuring 2m x 2m, attached to a Studio for the Gym measuring 3,2m x 4m, creating a return feature mirroring the property and enhancing the view from the home. Argent cladding was chosen for the whole building.
The Store was completed with structural boarding to walls and floor, finished with 11mm Matchboard to the walls and plaster finish to the ceiling. A full Panel UPVC door finished off Peter’s new Storage area.
The Studio was decorated in Neptune Driftwood paint to the walls and Snow matt emulsion to the ceiling. The floor was complimented with quick Step Chevron flooring.

We all loved working on this project in the beautiful town of Leamington!
For some time we had been trying to find the best way to replace our dilapidated Victorian out-building whilst wanting to incorporate an area for gym and storage shed. Having looked at various options we visited Henley Garden Buildings on site and were struck by Kevin’s immediate understanding of our needs and the ability to easily adapt their design both in terms of size and layout.
Once agreed, all progressed on time and as promised, with regular calls to update us. We have been really impressed with the quality of both the materials used and all people involved in the construction. A visitor commented they had never seen such a neat work site!
We now have a lovely gym which can always double up as a home office.
