Bespoke Arden with Store

Polly and Neil were looking to relocate their office space into their beautiful garden area. They needed it to accommodate wheelchair access. We visited their home to look at possible areas and orientation of the building that would give maximum light and full view of the surrounding garden and paddock. It was agreed that a full length window could be introduced to the right hand side of the building that would lead the eye out and a small top hinged window to the left hand side to maximise airflow.
Polly and Neil also needed the Garden Studio to have substantial storage. An additional side storeroom was included in the design with a deeper deck and canopy to allow movement from the office to the store.
The style and requirements were suited to our Bespoke Arden model with bespoke features. Polly and Neil chose Spiced Oak Slatted Cladding for the Studio Walls with Spiced Oak decking board.
The Studio was designed in Spiced Oak slatted cladding with Spiced Oak decking and cladding to the canopy. The decking area is 90cm deep to the front of the main studio and opens up wider toward the store. This whole area allows plenty of room for a wheelchair. Disabled access into the main Studio has been created by maximising the french doors to 90cm each, with two fixed side panels giving a total glass area of 3.6mtrs. A wide door to the Store room was included and flush door thresholds were used to ensure easy passage into the rooms
Internally, Cambridge Dark Oak flooring compliments the Spiced Oak Studio. Neptune Mist, Driftwood and Salt paint complete the serenity of the internal space.
This Spiced Oak studio is strikingly beautiful within the serenity of the natural space it sits within. The slatted cladding and decked area along with its recessed, insulated and boarded store make it a very desirable space.

From the start of the Project to the end product, we received a great service from Kevin and all of his team and we are delighted with our garden studio.
Kevin kindly came out to visit us several times to discuss all aspects of the design, including location of the studio in our garden, the choice of design and all the material and colour options. He brought samples of everything and expertly advised us and helped us make the decisions on what to choose. We opted for the Arden design, with store, deck and canopy in Spiced Oak with slatted cladding. It looks really great and we are looking forward to moving into our new office.
Kevin guided us through the whole process and the bespoke service is well worth it. The project was well-managed, everything went according to plan and the studio was completed on time.
