The Rowington with Store
Solihull
Simon and his partner visited the showsite in search of a building that would not only create a sociable place in a ‘forgotten’ part of their garden but also a gym and storage area for lawnmowers and garden tools.
A site visit was arranged to the family home in Solihull. At the bottom of the beautiful long garden was a line of dense hedging and behind that, an unused area that was serving no purpose.
After considering the need for privacy from a neighbouring garden at the side and the lovely treeline to the back, it was jointly agreed that the perfect building would be the Rowington with Store
We designed the building in Argent cladding with a 45cm decking step, side wall and canopy in contrasting Spiced Oak. Downlights were chosen for the canopy creating a soft light along the building in the evenings.
The Storeroom was fully insulated with Tongue and Groove softwood finished walls, plastered ceilings with chrome downlights and fittings.
We thoroughly enjoyed this build. Simon and his family were a pleasure to work with and the final result is truly stunning. The new building now compliments the beautifully manicured garden and sits proudly looking back at their home.

The Quality and finish of the building has exceeded our expectations and we really enjoy the extra space that the room has given us.
