Piers and Janis originally came to the show site enquiring about a summer house. After down sizing in house they required an additional space within their new garden for an all year round room to use as office space and also to socialise.
Our Signature Range luxury garden studio seemed to be a better fit for their needs and so we arranged a home visit. Piers and Janis have a beautiful garden and the studio could have been placed in several different positions but we all agreed on a pretty spot in the corner against a hedge with views out to the front and a view to the side highlighting an established Silver Birch tree.
We had a location and we had a vision and set to work on designing a stylish room for this lovely couple.
When designing, it is always key to appreciate the surroundings that the studio will sit in, whether a garden is large or small there is always a view point and opportunity to enhance the space.
We designed a 5m x 3m Rowington Studio with an extended Deck, Side Wall and Canopy to really give this building depth. The opening and entrance of the studio has a three metre Aluminium Bifolding Door, opening left into the side wall creating an unobstructed view of the beautiful garden.
Internally, to capitalise on the outlook of the Silver Birch tree to the left, we placed two full height fixed glazed units.
The studio was finished in our award winning composite cladding and decking with Argent Panel Cladding to the walls, Spiced Oak Slatted Cladding to the side wall and to the underside of the canopy, complimented with Spiced Oak Decking.
The finished design and build was simply stunning. We pride ourselves on our high standards of workmanship and this studio truly confirms this.
Such a lovely couple to work with in beautiful surroundings, we really do have dream jobs, thank you Piers and Janis.
