Mary and Jim visited our show site with a vision of creating two amazing spaces within their garden. The brief was to design a large entertaining space for a Bar and Lounge area with a second studio being a Gym with Store.
We arranged a home visit to enable us to visualise the space and assess how we could make the two separate buildings work harmoniously without overwhelming the garden.
We designed a breathtaking 7m x 4m Entertaining Studio which would link by a deck seamlessly to the Gym with Store, sitting perfectly in the garden beautifully.
With the drawings proofed and a decision made to create two individual projects, we set to work on finalising the design for the entertaining area as priority.
The result was truly amazing! The design was executed with a large 1 mtr deck with a mirroring canopy that wrapped around the studio. We introduced 4mtr and 3mtr bi-fold doors which when opened, floated over the deck without overhanging.
The design was based on our Rowington model which works so well when sat in the corner of a garden. The Aluminium doors fold back and sit within the side walls perfectly.
Argent panel cladding was chosen for the walls with contrasting Havana cladding to the underside of the canopy and inside walls. The deck was completed in Havana decking, creating a classy finish to the timeless design.
Mary and Jim were an absolute pleasure to work with and we look forward to starting phase two soon.
‘Lets go in and have a look’ I said, six weeks later we have the most beautiful studio. We couldn’t be happier.
Kevin Davies was an inspiration from the design to creation. From the moment ground was broken, I was amazed of the seamless and well managed operation. The workmanship and attention to detail was second to none, more importantly the end result was beyond what we had imagined or expected.
