Electrical Installation: Fully Qualified, Fully Integrated, Fully Ready to Use

At Henley Garden Buildings, electrical work is a key part of our Turnkey Finish, meaning your garden room is delivered not only beautifully built, but completely functional from the moment you step inside. Every installation is carried out by our fully qualified electrician, ensuring total safety, seamless integration and a professional finish throughout.

First Fix: Precision Planning for a Perfect Finish

During the construction phase, our electrician visits site to complete the first fix stage. This is when all cabling and internal wiring is installed before plasterboarding and finishing touchwork begins. It ensures every electrical element is neatly concealed within the fabric of the building for a clean, uncluttered appearance.

The first fix includes all essential preparations such as wiring for internal and external lighting, ensuring your building is lit exactly as you envision from the start. Any heating systems you select — whether electric radiators or underfloor heating — are also planned and wired at this stage. Power provision is carefully designed around your needs, with double plug sockets, data points and even smart home integration all included where specified.

A key part of the first fix is the installation of an armoured cable (SWA), which provides safe, durable connection back to your home’s main power supply. Alongside this, a discreetly positioned consumer unit (fuse board) is fitted inside the building, giving you independent control over the electrical circuits while maintaining a tidy appearance.

Every wire is routed with precision and safely concealed within the structure, ensuring that once plastering is complete, your electrical system blends seamlessly into the finished interior.
