A couple of years ago, Lee and Tracey approached us with the idea of creating a dedicated office space within their stunning garden, a peaceful, purpose-built environment that could be enjoyed comfortably throughout the year. Like many of our clients, they were at a crossroads, weighing up whether to move to a larger property or enhance their current home by investing in additional space that would add both function and value.
After much thought and planning, they made the decision this year to bring their vision to life. They chose a beautifully designed garden office that not only provides a practical and inspiring workspace but also sits effortlessly within the natural landscape of their garden. It’s a space that elevates everyday working life while complementing the charm and character of their existing home.
The finished garden office is everything Lee and Tracey envisioned, a thoughtfully designed, beautifully built workspace that not only enhances their daily routine but also adds lasting value to their home.
Set slightly away from the main property, the building feels like a private retreat, yet remains conveniently connected. The layout is centred around a large picture window, framed in natural oak, which draws the eye to the stunning garden views beyond. Our popular Rowington design forms the core of the structure, complete with a projecting canopy, step, and side wall to frame the outlook and create architectural interest.
Aluminium French doors add a sleek, modern touch, while the spiced oak decking and slatted detailing bring warmth and texture to the exterior. The building is clad in Argent composite panels, chosen for their durability and bold, contemporary appearance ensuring the office remains low-maintenance and visually striking throughout the seasons.
This is a space that effortlessly blends style and practicality, providing an inspiring place to work that feels far removed from the distractions of home, all without the need to move house.
